- Prepare and produce food per Company recipes and specifications on a kitchen line and prep area in a fast-paced environment.
- Food preparation and stocking workstation to ensure success for business demands.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces.
- Stock kitchen, organize product, inspect food quality
- Complete food safety protocols and logs with assistance and direction from management.
- Contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
- High school completion or equivalent certification. Culinary school and/or relevant experience preferred.
- Must have or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handler Card.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Participates in HAP's sustainability program, aka "Sustain Alaska & the Yukon", and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.

- Working knowledge of commercial kitchen operations.
- Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23 kg, work around hot kitchen equipment safely, and stand/walk for long periods of time
