    Business Systems Analyst 2
    University of California Los Angeles
    The Business Systems Analyst 2 assists with gathering, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of stakeholders.

    This includes compiling user requirements at the direction of Business Relationship Managers and participating in technology-based analysis of business practices, processes and problems; developing solutions which may involve process design, data and information architecture, software development and policy or procedural changes; executing unit integration and end-user acceptance testing; assisting with training materials development for system implementation; IT service management coordination; web and graphic design for ORA, RPC, and TDG.

    Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.

    Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development. (Experience with the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. (Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language. (Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning and organizing. (Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts. (Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android. (Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. (General knowledge of business and process analysis functions. (Skills and knowledge of methodologies associated with analysis of processes and problems, information flow and architecture. (Demonstrated knowledge and experience with web and graphic design, including skill in using relevant tools and software such as PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML, and CSS. (Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. (Experience with the organization's core software applications, including PATS, PAMS, RATS, ORC Portal, PI Portal. (Knowledge of the organization's core business process, operations, and procedures, as well as related areas of IT. (Bachelor's degree in computer science, business process management, or research information systems or a related area or equivalent experience. (Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, PST
