Description

Position Summary: Responsible for growing dairy and nondairy ingredient sales to large food processing customers in the assigned sales territory. Accountable for achieving targeted volume and revenue targets for assigned territory and customers.

The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers to aid customers in their success using our product. This will be done by developing appropriate communication with clients and internal team members to understand better and mitigate any issues the customers may face.

Duties and Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:

Account Management: Lead and influence strategic account planning. Develop comprehensive action plans for primary accounts. Develop a thoughtful understanding of customer potential by analyzing brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data. Cultivate customer relationships with essential decision-makers, positioning us as a preferred supplier.
Communication. Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization using Salesforce and e-mail. Demonstrates excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
Negotiation and Collaboration: Manage large commercial projects. Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical to the technical interface. Follow up on customer inquiries on a timely basis.
Cross Team Collaboration: Acts as a liaison between customers and cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Marketing, working to resolve issues as they occur.
