- Handling high volume of collection efforts through email and phone calls in a professional manner to collect on past due accounts.
- Resolving complicated billing disputes and payment discrepancies.
- Resolving customer questions and account issues that inhibit payment.
- Working with Cash Applications Coordinator to troubleshoot and resolve customer payment discrepancies.
- Performing month-end reporting of delinquent accounts.
- Working with internal customers to conclude all related business matters and discuss status of accounts. Advising all parties of any action to be initiated on delinquent, disputed or over credit limits.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals in other departments.
- Associate's degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Collections.
- Willingness to 'roll up sleeves' and dive deep into tactical work when necessary.
- Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally.
- Strong team player and ability to work well with others.
