    Job Description

    Quest Diagnostics in Secaucus seeks a Tax Accountant

    Responsibilities include:

    • Prepare check requests for co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions.
    • Process co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions.
    • Ensure the tax calendar is accurate and up to date.
    • Assist with tax notices.
    • Assist with preparation of federal 1120's and state income and franchise tax returns.
    • Assist with preparation of state income / franchise tax returns.
    • Assist with preparation of state tax estimates and extensions for various states.
    • Assist with calculation of state and local tax apportionment factors.

    Required Knowledge:

    • Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
    • Utilizes good time management and prioritizes tasks.
    • Knowledge of Corptax US Compliance tax software is a plus.

    Education:

    • Accounting or Finance Degree required.
