    Job Description:


    • Manage Automation (Automated machining lines & machine tending applications)

      • Take ownership of the project from design to integration milestones for Powertrain Automation systems.

      The Project Manager will oversee projects within budget and timeline.
      Project Manager must have the following skills/experience:
      • Ability to resolve issues and complete tasks.
      • Identify and manage areas of risk in customer's documentation.
      • Good AutoCAD experience with 3D viewers.
      • Managing projects within budget and time constraints.
      • Strong negotiating skills.
      • Proficient in MS Word, Office, Excel & Project.
      • Checking and understanding mechanical drawings.
      • 3 years Mechanical Engineer experience.
      • 2 additional years Project Management experience.
      • Strong work ethic (50-hour weeks).
      • Intermittent travel to customers' sites.

      Experience with different Automation Platforms like Cartesian Gantry systems, Articulating Robotic, various conveyors, and Pneumatic & Servo Pick & Places devices.

      Experience with Automation Technologies like CNC Machine Load/Unload, Fastening, Marking & Vision.
      Lead and collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Electricians, and technicians throughout projects.
      Conceptualizing after-sales change order requests (OCR).
      Assisting with machine manual writing/review.
      Writing customer & corporate reports.
      Leading Debug, Installation, training efforts at customer's site.

    Additional Skills:
    Experience with Global teams a Plus.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor/Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
    Industrial Automation experience.
    Robotics knowledge.
    Powertrain expertise.
    PLC experience.

    Other Skills required:
    Computer proficiency.
    Experience in a diverse environment.
    Strong written and oral communication skills.
    Must be flexible with work schedules.

    Math literacy:
    Project managers handle cost management and project statistics, requiring comfort with math.
    Must have a valid clean driving license.
