    **Description**

    **Position Summary:**

    **This position is responsible for working with co-workers to meet and exceed company goals.**

    **This position is responsible for communicating effectively to ensure that trucks are shipped complete**

    **and on time. This position requires an individual that is highly focused on safety and can handle a high**

    **volume of parts requests, as well as, having the ability to prioritize. Role is responsible for continuously**

    **striving to improve productivity, effectiveness, quality, and safety.**

    **Essential Job Functions:**

    Read, sort and process complete orders.

    Successfully load trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner

    Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.

    Ensure all products are scanned properly to the truck.

    Operate a forklift safely while performing daily tasks.

    Properly document department data/complete required paperwork.

    Ensure a safe and clean work environment is maintained.

    Ability to read and understand visual and written assembly instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts from a pick list.

    Issue parts to the lines as needed and operate a forklift to move/deliver parts to the line in a timely manner.

    Operate power hand tools, scanners, computers, and work with various other equipment.

    Assist with the upkeep of warehouse inventory and with the loading and unloading trucks.

    Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or defective material issues.

    Receive cross-training in multiple functions within and between various departments.

    Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and participating in reporting of unsafe conditions or instances.

    Maintaining housekeeping by having clean docks and warehouse aisles; stack material neatly and safely.

    Maintain an accurate inventory.

    **Experience:**

    Previous forklift/industrial vehicle operation experience preferred; must be able to obtain and retain the proper forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for the role

    Ability to communication successfully

    Ability to work successfully with a diverse workforce

    Ability to work independently and accurately

    Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus

    Experience working with computers in a production setting is preferred

    Basic mathematical skills (for measuring)

    **Educational and Professional Licensing or Certification Requirements:**

    High School Diploma or GED

    Ability to obtain/maintain a forklift certification is required

    Math skill: Knowledge of basic math required to measure and calculate per the specifications.

    **Physical Requirements:**

    Standing and/or walking for 8 10 hours a day

    Performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions

    Working at an established production rate pace entailing pushing and/or pulling of

    materials up to 50 pounds

    Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, team lifting may be required for heavier lifting

    Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning

    Climbing stairs and/or ladders and working in elevated areas
