Tech4Girls is a project of the NGO TechEducation gGmbH located in Chest Springs, PA.

The goal of Tech4Girls is to inspire girls to pursue technology and prepare them for the challenges of the future.

We do this by offering after-school clubs for girls at public schools.

If you enjoy working with children and have an interest in digital education, then this is the job for you

We are currently seeking a part-time employee to cover substitute shifts at schools and manage our social media channels.

Your responsibilities:

Cover substitute shifts at schools throughout Berlin when one of our coaches is unavailable
Lead afterschool clubs on programming/coding for small groups of girls aged 714 at elementary and secondary schools
Assist with creating content for our social media channels when there are no substitute shifts

We are looking for someone who:

Has a strong interest in education and enjoys working with children
Is flexible and can adapt quickly to new situations and people
Is passionate about promoting digital education in schools and has a desire to improve their own skills in this area
Is reliable, trustworthy, and patient
Is available for 1.5 hours between 1:30pm and 4:30pm on weekdays
Bonus, but not required: Is a student in the field of education or has previous experience in pedagogy, or has basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other coding languages
