    Automation Manager - Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas

    Base + Bonus + Benefits Join a leading organization in the heavy industrial sector as an Automation Manager, where you will set and implement strategic objectives to optimize automation systems and processes for seamless operations. With a global presence in over 20 countries, our client is a prominent producer and distributor of a wide range of products for various industries. We invite qualified candidates who possess technical expertise and exceptional emotional intelligence to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to apply for this exciting opportunity. You will have
    • Bachelor's degree in a field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.
    • 10+ years within process control and within that time, gained solid, defined experience of leading a team.
    • Experience of VMWare, Control Logix, Allen Bradley, SCADA, Cisco Networksand more.
    • Working knowledge of IT/OT
    Responsibilities Include
    • Develop and implement a unified vision and strategy for all sites within the country.
    • Lead continuous improvement in automation processes and upgrade equipment and standards through a dedicated taskforce.
    • Provide hands-on expertise to maintain process networks and automation systems, including backup and cybersecurity.
    • Supervise automation support and troubleshooting efforts across all plants and offices.
    • Deliver comprehensive training and development programs for process and automation-related skills.
    • Manage procurement for automation hardware and spare parts.
    • Lead an established team, define priorities, and encourage collaboration to share knowledge across the business.
    Skills
    • Process and Automation Project experience.
    • Network design and maintenance.
    • Skilled in coaching, teamwork, and providing constructive feedback to others.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and encourage positive change and build trust.
    • Possesses strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and apply technical documentation.
    Capabilities
    • Have the ability and is willing to travel up to 50% across the US visiting various sites, meeting colleagues. International travel may also be involved.
    • Able to work in variable weather conditions.
    • Can access complex sites that include heights, confined spaces, dusty and noisy environments.
