- Working with 3rd party and internal departments in integrating wireless equipment with current WAN and security infrastructure.
- Optimizing wireless performance while fulfilling security requirements for user/device authentication, encryption and intrusion detection, i.e. 802.1x RADIUS Authentication using EAP-TLS.
- Responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and modification of wireless network hardware and software
- Provides tier 3 support with LAN/WLAN networks, client devices, including hand-held devices and associated LAN and WAN connectivity.
- Responsible for documentation of installed networks, to include systems design, operations and implementations guides, Visio design drawings, etc.
- Maintains the security and integrity of all wireless hardware and software. Required Experience/Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's Degree, or a AS/AA or two-year Tech School with 8 years of experience; or HS/GED with 10 years of experience; or a BA in a relevant technical area with 5 years of experience.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in wireless and network communications industry is required
- Security + / DoD 8140 certification level IAT-I (must have within 3 months of hire)
- Aruba Certified Mobility Expert v8.x (ACMX) or Aruba Certified Design Expert (ACDX)
- Aruba Certified Switch Professional (ACSP) (must have within 4 months of hire)
- Familiarity with Survey analysis software or equivalent
- Proficiency with Aruba's Airwave management platform
- Knowledge of DNS & DHCP functions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio.
- Must be able to multi-task, required to provide daily status/updates to supervisors/ managers
- Candidate must be a self-starter and possess the ability to identify all subtasks, prioritize work, and determine the tools / material required to accomplish their assigned task within the allotted time.
- Candidate must have strong problem-solving, as well as the ability to interact well with both internal and external engineers, technicians, and customers. Preferred Experience/Qualifications
