    Description


    Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the STRATEGY AND FUTURE REQUIREMENTS DIVISION of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.

    Responsibilities You will analyze an organization or management function to identify processes or procedures to improve organizational structure. You will advise managers on the best practices for performance management, metrics development, or business process improvement. You will develop metrics to measure the success of operations towards meeting a strategic mission. You will compile information needed to complete reports recommending improvements to program operations. You will discuss business process improvement analysis with managers. You will recommend actions to eliminate problems involved in implementing policies. You will supervise a multidisciplinary staff to meet the goals of an operational activity.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing guidance and procedures for strategic planning, future (long-range) planning, integration, existing business processes, process improvement initiatives, metrics analysis, resource and performance management; 2) Compiling and analyzing information to verify facts, summarize narrative information and quantitative data, and devise solutions to problems; 3) Advising leadership on program oversight of policies, organization and mission; and 4) Supervisory a team who perform management and program analyst function

    Military Spouse Preference applicants will be placed at the highest grade for which they have applied and are determined Best Qualified (BQ). A BQ military spouse possesses knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies comparable to others who meet the competitive referral criteria for the specific position. PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) is not authorized. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
