Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the PLANS AND PROGRAMS DIVISION (SP10) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Responsibilities You will serve as a Nuclear Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Acquisition Management Program Analyst at Strategic Systems Program (SSP) in Washington, DC.

You will provide special technical analysis, expertise, and guidance on acquisition management, budget execution, program analysis, and the strategy and planning for SSP.

You will support the SP111 Section Head to lead SLCM-N acquisition managers in the development and maintenance of the acquisition strategy, the acquisition plan, and required documents in support of acquisition reviews.

You will manage acquisition documents for external commitment, ensuring timely submission of an integrated, quality product.

You will develop, in coordination with the comptroller, the Selected Acquisition Report (SAR) for the SLCM-N program for an annual reporting.

You will ensure that the acquisition strategy is developed to expend the resources provided by the Navy Resource Sponsor to SSP in an efficient and cost-effective manner to support assigned programs.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Utilizing expertise in DoD acquisition processes and management principles to effectively plan and coordinate teams, ensuring sucessful development and support of defense systems.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.

To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
