    PLEASE NOTE:
    This position is NOT C2C/ 3rd Party eligible. It is direct hire and hybrid in the Fort Worth, TX area.

    This position will be responsible for managing a dedicated network with its own domain and related infrastructure to deliver virtual servers, virtual desktops, containers, and applications to researchers and external collaborators.

    This will include an on-premise Nutanix cluster, as well as cloud services on Azure, AWS, and GCP.

    This team is also responsible for SQL Server administration and system administration for research and business intelligence applications. Therefore, the ideal candidate has experience in one or more of these domains.

    Examples of applications supported by this team include:
    Power BI, GoAnywhere MFT, SAS, ArcGIS, REDCap, Qualtrics, Tableau, and Amplitude Analytics.

    Currently, the team consists of three DBAs and two BI Administrators.

    It is expected that the manager will hire additional staff (system/platform engineers) to support the dedicated research network as it is built out, since it is a new expansion of our research program.
