    Junior Automation Tester - Full Time - Remote at Guidehouse in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Family : Software Development & Support (Digital)

    None Clearance Required : Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do : Guidehouse Digital is seeking a Junior Automation Tester to support a new customer and initiative.

    This is a full time position the location is Rockville, MD, OR fully remote anywhere in the United States. + Responsible for testing all software releases including new features, enhancements, and defects fixes. + Manual testing, strong requirements analysis, test writing, and the ability to contribute to automated test effort. + Contribute to the design and building of an automation test framework for a complex, highly customizable website. + Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases by collaborating with architects, developers and project managers.

    + Design, build and maintain automated tests and test suites for new features as well as existing functionality in browser, command-line and API-based applications.

    + Create and manage test data for use by automation test scripts. + Perform manual testing according to test plans. + Identify, record, thoroughly document and track defects. + Augment automated regression test scripts when defects are resolved. + Provide feedback and recommendations to project management on software usability and functionality.


    What You Will Need :
    Bachelors' Degree or 4 years additional Experience and training with Software testing.

    At least 2 years of experience in software testing At least 2 years doing automated testing using either Selenium IDE and/or Selenium WebDriver.

    Experience in various testing methodologies such as White Box, Black Box, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing and others Experience on 508 testing and use of JAWS tool Experience in creation and execution of test plans Experience in setting up and managing test environments.

    Experience coding using Java as the primary programming language. Must be able to obtain & maintain a Public Trust clearance.

    What Would Be Nice To Have :

    Experience with other automation tools and prior experience as a Java developer The annual salary range for this position is $61,300.
