    Description

    Primary Care Section Chief opportunity in Prescott, Arizona Join the most noble mission in healthcare by helping Veterans thrive The Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) has an opening for a Primary Care Section Chief in picturesque Prescott, Arizona.

    You will serve in a combined clinical and administrative capacity.

    Clinical duties involve working in outpatient settings utilizing various modalities to accomplish patient interactions including CVT video technologies, Face to Face in-person clinic encounters, telephone encounters, and secure messaging.

    The percent of time devoted to clinical and administrative duties will be designated by the Dyad, PC and may vary depending on the needs of the Primary Care service line.

    You will also supervise directly, or indirectly, the Managers, Supervisors, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other clinical provider staff as assigned.


    Work Schedule:
    Monday - Friday, 8:00 a

    m - Pay:
    Competitive salary + annual performance bonus + regular salary increases.

    Paid-Time Off:

    days of annual paid-time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).


    Relocation Expenses :
    May be authorized for highly qualified applicants.

    Retirement:
    Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401k with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
    Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement).


    CME:
    Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement.

    Contract:
    No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on moonlighting.

    Citizenship required:

    non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
