    IT Security Engineer / Network Administrator

    Job Overview:

    The IT Security Engineer/Network Administrator is critical in securing the digital assets of the senior leadership and family offices and other individuals and departments as needed. In this role, you'll build and safeguard the digital infrastructure and environment for the family office. This includes ensuring the data integrity of cellular phones, networks, routers, and other digital channels. Responsibilities include fortifying security protocols and implementation of network defenses. We seek candidates with relevant experience, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.

    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Network Infrastructure Management:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for network infrastructure.
    • Conduct network and WIFI analysis to ensure reliability.
    • Monitor and maintain Firewalls, routers, access points, and other network devices.
    • Update routers with necessary ACLs for security.
    • Stay updated on network device issues and security threats.
    • Provide prompt response to network issues impacting operations.
    • Design, source, install, and configure network devices.

    Security Analysis and Management:

    • Perform security analysis and updates for network systems.
    • Provide daily reports on security issues and network performance.

    Systems Monitoring and Control:

    • Monitor and maintain Control4 systems and OvrC systems.
    • Provide all internal and external communications and documentation.
    • Supply and update progress reports as necessary.

    Collaboration and Project Management:

    • Collaborate with external consultants on Exchange server configurations.
    • Supervise IT and AV installations for new construction projects.
    • Coordinate installation, equipment programming, testing, and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure compatibility and adherence to budget.

    Documentation and Communication:

    • Develop and update employee network use documentation.
    • Manage internal and external communications and documentation.
    • Provide progress reports as required.

    Other Skills and Duties:

    • Travel to various properties as needed.
    • Adept in managing an ever-changing schedule and calendar.
    • Outstanding problem solver; resourceful and quick-thinking
    • Professional phone manners.
    • Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours and overtime as needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University is preferred but not required.

    Experience: 10+ years' experience in IT Systems, Network Design, IT Engineering, or a similar field

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Excellent references are required from both current and previous employers.
    • Valid Driver's License; confident driver with a clean driving record.
    • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
    • Legally able to work within the United States for any employer.

    Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the Cleveland area is a plus but not required.

    Working Conditions:

    • Full-time, on-site with availability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Occasional overnight travel (domestic and international)
    • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking may be required for long periods and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
    • Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
    • Occasional lifting and moving approximately 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50+ pounds.
    • Maintain flexible schedule and on-call hours as needed.
    • Business casual attire.

    Compensation: $150-$180K (DOE) – plus comprehensive benefits

    Location: Cleveland, OH (Relocation assistance/allowance may be offered to preferred candidates)
