- Plan, schedule, and coordinate quality functions, such as, authorize to returns, customer rework, nonconformance material reports, and sorting activities.
- Reviews and interprets product/process drawings, specifications, and other applicable work instructions to determine pass/fail requirements.
- Identifies quality performance through data trends derived from High Performance Teams. Ensures compliance to specified quality requirements by performing in-house audits and surveys.
- Prepares reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and summarizing data and making recommendations. Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
- Participates in failure analysis and corrective action investigations. Develops and coordinates corrective action procedures and plans.
- Refines and enhances products and processes by applying continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques to critical areas of production.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, reliability and accuracy of products and processes.
- Ensures that project and/or process control documentation is compliant with requirements and updates as necessary with Engineering oversight.
- Support Parker's Zero-Defect Strategy by becoming a subject matter expert in the defect prevention tools utilized (e.g. PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, etc.)
- Assist with internal division site quality improvement initiatives, as required.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in, or completed degree in related field, such as: Engineering or Technical field.
- Candidate shall have completed sophomore year with a overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work in person from June August 2024 full-time.
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of environments and assignments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
