    Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Quality Engineering Internship in theLexington, KY, facility for the Summer starting in May of 2024.

    This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

    What will you do?Ensure manufacturing and repair processes comply with quality assurance standardsAssist on cost analysis and quality assurance (i.e., damage in transit and missing quantity claims)Analyze data and make suggestions for process improvementAssist Quality Manager and team in quality management in the manufacturing plantAssist in building Quality awareness and programsUtilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Tableau to manage dashboardsOther projects as needed / working alongside the quality team What qualifications will make you successful? Currently enrolled in a four-year university programPreferred field of study include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or relatedComfortable using digital tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ERP, Tableau, etc.)Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsOrganized and able to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
