Your Responsibilities

As a Contract Management Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of contract processes for complex projects in the renewable energy sector at Northwood. This includes negotiating contracts between clients and contractors, as well as implementing and managing contract changes for technical, scheduling, personnel, or financial reasons.

Advising project and procurement management on contractual matters and creating relevant reports for overall project management
Reviewing and assessing legal specifications of existing contracts with contractors
Developing strategies and tactics to defend against claims and conducting negotiations in legal and court disputes
Assisting with dispute resolution and evaluating damage minimization concepts
Documenting claim processes and monitoring own claims
Coordinating and collaborating with the technical, procurement, and legal departments

Your Profile

Completed degree in law or equivalent qualification
Extensive knowledge of national and international contract law
Demonstrable experience in contract implementation for projects, ideally in the field of plant construction
Confident handling of contractual documents and strong negotiation skills in German and English
Assertiveness, strategic negotiation skills, and analytical thinking
Independent, structured, and team-oriented work style
Good knowledge of MS
