As a Product Marketing Manager at Statsig, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing marketing strategies that drive product adoption and growth.
You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, sales, and our marketing teams to deliver impactful product launches, develop compelling positioning and messaging, and engage effectively with our customers and industry analysts.
This role demands a blend of creativity and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.In addition, you'll also be heavily involved in our analyst relations program, thought leadership and content marketing initiatives, market segmentation, persona development, and engaging with our customers and the broader developer community.
Responsibilities:
Product Launches:
Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
You are owning and driving a tight launch calendar of major product marketing moments, partnering with your PM stakeholders to ensure smooth and impactful launches.
Customer Marketing:
Develop and implement strategies to engage, retain, and expand our customer base through targeted marketing campaigns, case studies, and customer success stories.
Competitor Analysis:
Participate in thorough competitor analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
Leverage insights to inform product positioning and build these insights into marketing content such as blogs, website, and sales materials.
Positioning and Messaging:
Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target technical audience, differentiating our offerings in the competitive landscape.
Analyst Relations:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts, positioning Statsig as a leader in our space and leveraging insights to influence our product and marketing strategies.
Reviewing Customer and Sales Calls:
Actively participate in and review customer and sales calls to gather feedback, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities for product enhancements and marketing initiatives.
Persona Building:
Create detailed buyer and user personas based on market research and data analysis, guiding tailored marketing and product development efforts.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is a strategic thinker who can also execute.
You have a passion for finding unique positioning in the B2B SaaS space and love to create marketing launch moments.
You are ideally a people person who can easily work across multiple teams such as Product, Eng, Sales, and know how to secure buy-in to move forward.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years in product marketing and/or product management roles in B2B technology companies
Seattle, WA area-based; we are an in-person company (based in Bellevue) and this role will be an in-office role
Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Execution-oriented; you can turn an idea into a concrete task list and execute across teams and dependencies to drive outcomes
Excellent writer and storyteller - ability to articulate the long-term vision
Passionate about product building and product builders and have experience marketing to this audience
Ability to manage complex / cross-functional projects
Strong appreciation for demand generation and sales
