    AM Law 100 Firm's Los Angeles office is seeking associates to join its litigation practice.

    Requirements

    • Experience: Preferred candidates should present a solid background in federal and state securities laws, corporate securities procedures and processes, corporate governance issues, SEC enforcement, and accounting issues. The candidate must have (i) 3-5 years of significant litigation experience, including depositions and oral advocacy (ii) significant experience with litigating securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions and/or SEC, DOJ or other governmental enforcement actions or corporate internal investigations (iii) practiced in the Litigation Department of a comparable law firm (iv) project-based experience, as well as the ability to multi-task on a variety of high-level assignments while continuously producing thoughtful, intelligent work product of superior quality (v) experience working with and also overseeing junior associates and professional staff (vi) a high level of academic achievement from a law school institution. Federal court litigation experience is helpful and Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus. Current admittance to the California bar required. Successful candidates will join a dynamic office working with a broad-spectrum of U.S. and international clients in their most relevant securities matters and disputes. EOE.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience.
    • The expected annual pay range for this position is $250,000 - $345,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
