Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
• Assist in negotiating settlements on behalf of clients
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
• Provide legal administrative support as needed

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar association where practicing
• Strong research and writing skills
• Experience in legal drafting and litigation
• Proficiency in utilizing legal research databases such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis

Preferred Skills

• Ability to conduct thorough legal research
• Proficient in drafting legal documents
• Familiarity with Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis platforms
• Experience in negotiating settlements
• Strong litigation skills
