    Description

    Join the team at Greater Toledo Community Foundation!

    • Manage and enhance grantmaking programs to make a positive impact in the Toledo area
    • Work closely with various Foundation funds to provide professional advice and assistance
    • Conduct investigations and evaluations of grant proposals
    • Prepare detailed reports and make presentations to relevant committees and leadership
    • Monitor grant performance and report findings to key stakeholders

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced academic degree preferred
    • Three to five years of experience in foundation grantmaking or nonprofit management
    • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
    • Knowledge of financial statements and budgeting practices
    • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgement

    Additional Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize effectively
    • Professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude
    • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and professional development

    Physical Requirements:

    • Occasional lifting of small boxes and travel outside the office
