    Wealth Advisor - Managing Director

    Horter Investment Management is a financial services company, family owned and operated in Cincinnati, Ohio with advisors located across the United States. Horter Investment Management operates within the Horter family of companies, which include Investment Management, Tax, Insurance, and Medicare offerings. The home office staff is comprised of marketing, client support, sales support, technology, operations, and compliance specialists with a depth of experience in the industry and with Horter Investment Management.     With both 1099 and W2 arrangements available, we have the flexibility to design compensation and benefits to fit the needs of the advisor. In addition, we help our advisors with their long-term succession strategies so they can maximize financial security and the ongoing management of the clients they advise.

All of these services are the result of a thoughtful financial plan that is created and customized for each client with the objective being to assist in helping with goals related to growing and preserving wealth. In doing so we recommend and implement investment, insurance, estate, and tax planning strategies that are appropriate in order for the client to meet their financial objectives.

    We are seeking Wealth Advisors for our home office location and remote opportunities across the United States. Our advisors are supported by dedicated in-house service professionals that will assist in the delivery of client service and sales support in addition to the ongoing operations and compliance requirements of our industry. We aim to provide you all the support and resources you need so you can focus on what you do best, working with clients to help them achieve their dreams and grow your book in the process.

    As a Horter Financial Advisor your primary responsibilities will include client acquisition and the identification and delivery of investment management and insurance solutions by way of discovery and a custom financial plan.

    Qualifications:

    To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

    Requires a Bachelors degree in Finance or related field

    Requires 65 or 7/66, life and health insurance licenses

    A CFP certification is highly preferred

    Strong understanding of the investment management business

    5+ years experience as a Financial Advisor

    Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills

    Proven track record of utilizing financial planning to build and manage client relationships
