Description

The Semitron Group is a company with 170 employees and several companies/locations in Germany and Switzerland, and is one of the leading distributors and test houses for electronic components (semiconductors). Our customers include large companies and medium-sized businesses from various markets. In the test house, customer orders are processed, which mainly involve programming, authenticity checks of components, labeling, marking, and component behavior under certain physical conditions.

Job Description:

  • Introduction and management of an environmental management system (EMS) according to DIN EN ISO 14001
  • Reporting to customers and suppliers on environmental issues
  • Contact with our suppliers (manufacturers, service providers) regarding environmental and sustainability matters
  • Reporting on REACH, RoHs, Conflict Minerals (CMRT), and Cobalt and Mica (EMRT), WEEE directives, TSCA, Proposition 65, and possibly other requirements
  • Evaluation and decision for a platform regarding these reporting tasks
  • Organization and implementation of internal environmental audits
  • Accompaniment of external audits

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training, technician and/or university graduate (bachelor), ideally with a focus on environment or energy.
  • Willingness to familiarize oneself with the required topics.
