Senior React Developer (m/f/d) // Hamburg (hybrid) // Up to 80,000€

For developers with a passion for reading: We are one of the largest book retail companies in Germany and we are looking for React developers to join our online shop team. Our team consists of talented and dedicated professionals, and books are our passion - for over 100 years now.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, user-friendly web applications using React.
  • Continuously improve our eCommerce platform (shop, CMS, API) in short release cycles.
  • Identify and fix bugs, as well as optimize application performance.
  • In our agile development process, we use IntelliJ IDEA, Gitlab, and Docker.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and collaborate on developing best practices.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of React and Typescript, and ideally experience with
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Ideally, experience in the eCommerce sector.
  • Independent, structured work style and ability to work in small teams.
