Role Overview

The Quality Control manager at Suddath oversees the quality standards of our Driver Fleet. Responsibilities include conducting property damage assessments, negotiating settlements, and working closely with independent contractors and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct property damage assessments and track progress
Negotiate settlements with customers
Coordinate repair plans and ensure completion
Collaborate with Driver Trainer on contractor onboarding
Provide training on product installation to contractors
Address and resolve customer concerns
Maintain communication with contractors to ensure service quality
Assist with contractor recruitment and onboarding
Develop contractor training programs as needed
Initiate and maintain relationships with sales team and customers
Complete necessary paperwork for contractor evaluations and performance surveys
Address and resolve escalated issues promptly

Requirements

Minimum of two years' experience in transportation, logistics, or related fields. Experience in appliance installation and delivery is essential. A valid driver's license is required.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and lead a team
Capacity to handle physical demands of the job

Physical Demands

Work environment may vary between climate-controlled offices and non-controlled warehouses or outdoor settings. Requires physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting objects up to 65 pounds.
