Job Description
Datalogic is currently seeking an Americas Events Specialist to join our Marketing Team in the US. This position supports the local Marketing and Global Events teams in consolidating the yearly events, plans, and budget.

Reporting directly to the Global Event and Communications Manager, the Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing successful and impactful events and tradeshows within the Americas region.

This role will support the creation and implementation of effective communication that promote company events.

Key Responsibilities
Supports local Marketing in the organization of trade shows:
o Consolidation of event documentation (Event Plan, Communication Plan, Staff Book, Follow-up report)
o Ensures that the event plan includes inputs from local sales/marketing teams, business units, and Global Events team.
o Project Management support
o Purchasing and supplier management within the allocated budget
o Aligns inhouse exhibit planning with show rules and regulations.
o Booth schedule and staff coordination for the planning, set-up and follow-up activities.
o Lodging and goods logistics (with support from the logistic/travel department)

Organizes, in conjunction with the Global Events and local Marketing team, regional/local partner and corporate meetings, providing project management, plan coordination, and execution (Awards, Regional SKO, open days, etc.)
Manages gifts and collaterals for the events in coordination with purchasing, local marketing and logistics.
Manages inventory of demo products, materials and related database
Manages event furniture and graphic materials stock in-house or at suppliers' warehouses.
Supports event and seminar listings on company website.
Supports selected events by partners and distributors by coordinating logistics for furniture, set-up and demo delivery.
Provides QBR reports to Global Events team on local corporate events.
Supports Corporate Communication team in reviewing copy for monthly social media posts and providing copywriting for corporate communication upon request.

Qualifications/Requirements
Education (School/Specialization)

Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business or similar; or equivalent experience

Primary Language

Fluent English; written and verbal communication; Spanish is a plus

Experience

3-5 years in B2B marketing role
