- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Perform first piece set-up validation, and ensure quality conformance.
- Observe work and monitor gauges, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures.
- Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
- Ability to proficiently use various company-related and external systems and databases.
- Ability to work effectively with internal/external personnel, and customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage several tasks simultaneously.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
- Must be proficient with computers.

POSITION SUMMARYThe incumbent in this position is a member of the production team and is responsible for tool setting, troubleshooting and repairing crimping machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including standing, sitting, bending, reaching, walking, and stretching. The employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands, handle or feel. The employee must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting and/or moving light objects up to ten (10) pounds, and occasionally lift or move items up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision. Employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and chemicals.
