EHC is currently looking for a
Vessel Coordinator for a client located in Southwest Houston.


Job Summary:
Setup vessels including advance shipping notice, maintain log, assign vessels, and create land loads. Other responsibilities include a variety of other inventory tasks in support of the Inventory Manager.


Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup vessels including advance shipping notice, maintain vessel log, assign vessels, and create land loads for Trucking Companies.
  • Create vessel folders and prints out Advance Shipping Notices for Receiving Supervisor and Trucking Company.
  • Reconciliation of yard and warehouse receiving documents.
  • Receive direct purchase orders.
  • Maintain various reports to assist with end of month reconciliation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Vessel scheduling experience required.
  • Some College Education preferred.
  • 35 years of previous general office experience.
  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) experience a plus.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.

Desired Skills and Traits:

  • Must be comfortable with interruptions and handling multiple projects and tasks at one time.
  • Flexibility regarding work schedule necessary; some mandatory Saturday work.
  • Accounting background or experience helpful.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • The employee will regularly be required to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
  • The employee will work on and look at a computer screen for several hours or more every day.
  • Verbal communication is vital between internal and external clients, customers, and employees.
  • Some lifting of 1025 lbs. will be required on occasion.

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
