- Recruits, screens, orients, and coordinates activities of volunteers in program
- Assigns volunteers to refugee families, as well as activities within the program
- Tracks and reports volunteers' monthly activities
- Coordinates monthly volunteer meetings
- Participates in community outreach activities
- Maintains contact with prospective volunteers within the community
- Documents services in case files, including filing monthly volunteer activity sheets in case files
- May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in refugee resettlement and/or case management
- Excellent data entry skills (speed and accuracy)
- Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven strong communication skills - oral and written are clear, concise, and in an organized fashion using appropriate style, grammar, and tone
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39-month motor vehicle report
- Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid)
- Associate Degree in social services or related field
- Additional years of directly-related experience
- Multilingual, verbal and written

OVERVIEW
Responsible for the recruitment, orientation, coordination, and retention of volunteers. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.
