Description
Joining the Customs and Border Protection Office of Training and Development will allow you to use your knowledge to ensure that the training provided in CBP meets all technical requirements of all specialty areas.
This position starts at a salary of $122, GS-14, Step 1) to $158, GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $158,860 (GS-14 Step 10).
Major Duties Include:
Directing the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of highly complex and technical training programs by initiating programs of instruction and training aids; determining resources requirements determining resources requirements, assigning tasks and monitoring and evaluating work performance.
Leading quality assurance teams in the assessment, analysis, design, development implementation and the evaluation phases of the Instructional Systems Design process to ensure standardization of courses and ensures curriculum is up to date.
Supervising and conducting the design and develop of instructional strategies/techniques that are reflective of current doctrine, conditions, and procedures to meet the needs of the agency.
Performing high-level analyses projects and developing recommendations for implementation and action.Providing supervision while conducting the design, development, revision, and evaluation of CBP courses to ensure that the delivery of training, coaching, and evaluation of students is conducted properly.
