    Job DescriptionDescriptionOur Systems Engineers design, implement and support advanced Windows server, application, and network technologies. You will assist with project scope development and migrate data and server applications. The role is ideal for fast-paced, detailed driven, eager to learn IT professionals with a focus on great customer service to both our staff and external clients. Success in this position requires solid technical depth with Windows servers and applications, and migration procedures.

    Position OverviewWhat you'll be doing as a Systems Engineer.....
    • Implement, and manage Azure networking services to support business operations and applications.
    • Deploy and maintain Azure virtual desktop infrastructure to optimize performance and user experience.
    • Execute Microsoft 365 migrations, including mailbox migrations, SharePoint Online migrations, and OneDrive migrations.
    • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune services for mobile device management and application deployment.
    • Facilitate file and application migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and maintaining data integrity.
    • Manage virtualization platforms using VMware and Hyper-V, including server provisioning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
    • Ability to implement networking migrations for firewalls and switching, ensuring network security and compliance with industry standards.
    • Implement upgrades and migrations onto Microsoft server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and ability to perform day-to-day server administration tasks.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and ensure system stability.
    • Execute IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, define scope, and establish project timelines.

    You are a great Systems Engineer candidate if you have.....
    • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure networking services, virtual desktop infrastructure, Microsoft 365 migrations, and Microsoft Intune services.
    • Proficiency in file and application migration techniques, with a strong understanding of data migration best practices.
    • Proficient in VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies, including server provisioning, management, and performance optimization.
    • In-depth understanding of advanced networking concepts, including firewall configurations, routing protocols, and VLANs.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft server infrastructure, including Active Directory, GPO management, and server administration.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
    • Flexibility to accommodate after-hours and weekend client and team member needs
    Additional Information:
    • Valid driver's license and insurance with reliable transportation. This position will require some in-frequent travel to the other client offices as needed.
