We are seeking an experiencedTax Manager
to join our firm. This position may be remote or hybrid, depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
General Job Requirements:
Prepare complex income tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040)
Conduct quality review of all levels of income tax returns
Remain up-to-date on tax practices and changes in tax law
Identify and communicate accounting and tax planning opportunities to firm partners and clients
Interact with clients in a positive manner to ensure that the information flow from our clients to our team is efficient and accurate
Manage, develop, train and mentor staff on a continual basis
Requirements
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
Experience with Iowa income tax law
Highly effective communication with clients and staff
Experience preparing and reviewing complex and multi-state income tax returns
Experience communicating with clients on tax related matters
Be organized, efficient and have a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with UltraTax, GoFileRoom, AdvanceFlow and Microsoft Office
Experience with general ledger accounting
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
