We are seeking an experiencedTax Manager
to join our firm. This position may be remote or hybrid, depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
General Job Requirements:
Prepare complex income tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040)Conduct quality review of all levels of income tax returnsRemain up-to-date on tax practices and changes in tax lawIdentify and communicate accounting and tax planning opportunities to firm partners and clientsInteract with clients in a positive manner to ensure that the information flow from our clients to our team is efficient and accurateManage, develop, train and mentor staff on a continual basisRequirementsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) requiredBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related fieldExperience with Iowa income tax lawHighly effective communication with clients and staffExperience preparing and reviewing complex and multi-state income tax returnsExperience communicating with clients on tax related mattersBe organized, efficient and have a positive attitudePreferred QualificationsProficiency with UltraTax, GoFileRoom, AdvanceFlow and Microsoft OfficeExperience with general ledger accountingExperience with QuickBooks accounting softwareHealth, vision and dental insurance, 401(k) plus match, short term and long term disability insurance, term life insurance and unlimited paid time off.
