    Legal Secretary/Office Manager

    Location: Sausalito, CA

    Pay Range: $90K to $100K per year, Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k

    Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Onsite

    LHH is partnering with a regional law firm in seeking a Legal Secretary/Office Manager to join their Sausalito office. This role will be mostly Legal Secretary responsibilities with Office Manager responsibilities included. Looking for someone with 5 or more years of relevant experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle e-filings and possess comprehensive knowledge of the litigation process.
    • Prepare and edit legal documents, correspondence, and emails.
    • Ensure accuracy and proper formatting through proofreading.
    • Organize documents and exhibits for court filings and hearings.
    • Supervise Legal Secretaries, Paralegals, and office staff.
    • Collaborate with the managing partner to oversee day-to-day office operations.
    • Supervise staff members and assist in HR matters such as hiring and performance evaluations.
    • Review and approve staff timecards and expense reports.
    • Process firm vendor invoices and support the Marketing Department as required.
    • Maintain files, coordinate file transfers, and manage office space maintenance.
    • Coordinate client entertainment, contracts, and audit requests.
    • Manage office supplies, orders, and storage.
    • Conduct new hire orientation and coordinate overflow duties.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in office management and legal secretary roles preferred.
    • Proficiency in e-filings and litigation procedures.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
    • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification desirable.
