Description

As a test engineer at Vineland, your main responsibility is to design, develop, and validate test environments and tools such as test benches, recording tools, and simulated I/O.

This includes creating test plans and cases for complex systems in laboratory conditions using HiL/SiL and test carriers.

You will also be responsible for building test automation scripts using C, Python, Perl, and CAPL, as well as recording and evaluating Traces using CANoe and CANalyzer.

Your final task will be to analyze and document the results of the tests.


To qualify for this role, you should have a successful degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, or a comparable apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.

You should also have experience working with test equipment such as HiL (dSpace), CANoe, and CANalyzer, as well as simulation software like Matlab/Simulink and IPG Carmaker.

Ideally, you will also have knowledge of communication protocols used in the automotive industry, such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.

Experience in programming languages like C, C++, Python, Perl, and CAPL is also desirable. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is a plus.
