The Salzgitter Digital Solutions GmbH is a software and consulting company responsible for the information technology of the Salzgitter Group as a central service provider and coordinator.

Our range of services includes process consulting, analysis, implementation and operation of IT and telecommunications systems, as well as the full service of a large data center.


We are looking for an experienced Business Controller (m/f/d) for our Controlling & Accounting department at our location in Salzgitter.


The tasks of the Controlling & Accounting department focus on supporting and management processes, such as planning/budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

This department is also responsible for area controlling, operational consulting for commercial issues, and invoicing for services provided by SZDS.


Your tasks:


  • In your role as Business Controller (m/f/d), you will optimize and monitor classical and agile projects together with the respective project manager.
  • You will create reports, analyze and comment on planning deviations, and develop (counter) control measures in the relevant area.
  • You will design and conduct project price and reviews and determine meaningful key figures.
  • In addition, your tasks will include operational project support, such as tracking of service acceptances, order tracking, etc.
  • You will actively participate in the preparation of upcoming financial statements (monthly/quarterly/yearly) according to recognized accounting standards in the Group, such as HGB and IFRS.
