- Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail, and a focus on superior customer service
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication, planning, problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills

- Experience with FAR/DFAR clauses and terms

The Subcontracts Specialist provides subcontract management support to the Nonstructural and Structural Materials Operating Divisions.
This position is responsible for pre-award and post-award subcontract administration, including development of subcontract documents including modifications, cost analysis, processing invoice payments, and initiating subcontract closeouts.
Reporting to the Sr.Subcontracts Manager in the Contracts and Grants Office, the Subcontracts Specialist will closely collaborate with Division personnel and technical researchers to ensure efficient and compliant subcontract execution and management.
