    Description
    Job Summary:
    Providing nursing care to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or physician/advanced practice provider. Observing nursing interventions, assisting medical staff, and ensuring optimal care within established standards. Employing excellent work habits, demonstrating respect towards coworkers and patients, and aligning with the organization's Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan.
    Responsibilities:
    • Excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, providers, and co-workers.
    • Administering therapeutic patient care as directed.
    • Transcribing orders accurately.
    • Collaborating with a registered nurse to update care plans.
    • Administering medication and treatments.
    • Performing patient care functions.
    • Assisting in examinations and treatments.
    • Observing and documenting patients' conditions.
    • Providing patient education.
    • Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
    • Participating in meetings and staff programs.
    • Assisting in ordering and stocking supplies.
    • Compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
    • Age-related competencies assessment.
    Basic Qualifications:
    Experience
    • Minimum Twelve (12) months LVN direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years.
    Education
    • High School Diploma or GED
    License, Certification
    • Vocational Nurse License (California)

    • Basic Life Support

    Additional Requirements:
    • Critical importance of customer relations and service.
    • Demonstrated skills in providing quality service.
    • IV Certification and Blood Withdrawal Certification preferred.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.

    • Must successfully pass or have passed the bilingual test (within the last 12 months).
