About the Role
The focus of this job is to achieving results which are aligned with the chapter's annual multimillion dollar goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results .
There is an emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups and requires an outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style.
Emphasis is on results, relationship building and effective use of the organizational systems; to cultivate or steward gifts from, individuals.
Essential Job DutiesManage chapter fundraising portfolio for donors
Conduct research to identify potential donors within the $1,000-$10,000 giving range and analyze donor interests, giving history, and philanthropic capacity
Create personalized engagement and stewardship strategies for prospective and existing donors and assist in organizing cultivation events, donor tours, and informational sessions
Draft personalized solicitation letters, emails, and proposals. Maintain regular contact with donors through updates and impact reports
Ensure accurate and up-to-date donor records in the organization's CRM system (Raiser's Edge). Track donor interactions and communication history
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of donations within the target range. Ensure donors receive acknowledgment letters and receipts promptly
Assist in planning and executing fundraising events targeting new mid-level donors and help drive attendance for greater Miami chapter. Coordinate follow-up engagement for event attendees
Generate reports on fundraising progress, donor retention, and trends within the giving range of assigned portfolio using the CRM software
Identify opportunities for donors to get involved beyond financial contributions
Work closely with other development staff, including Major Gift Officers and Annual Fund teams, to coordinate efforts
Key Performance Indicators
Find and secure new donors >$1,000
Plan and execute small events to drive awareness and engagement of FIDF
Expand current portfolio by 20% annually
Effective implementation of moves management for strategic donor base
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience working in a sales, fundraising or comparable role
innovative and creative problem solving
Relationship building focused on achieving results
Engage commitment of others
Confident, enthusiastic, persuasive influencer, stimulates others to action
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
Ability to travel locally
Occasional evening and working on Sundays required
