    About the Employer


    Welcome Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education.

    Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.

    Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

    Internal CSEA 239 District employees will receive first consideration for this position.

    Internal CSEA 239 employees may either apply on Edjoin or submit a Transfer Application Form to the Personnel office by the deadline.

    Please note that since substitute maintenance workers are not part of the CSEA 239 union, they are not eligible to use the internal transfer form.

    DOJ fingerprinting, a clear TB assessment, and a pre-employment physical is required.
