At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a (social) lawyer, social insurance specialist, administrative specialist, social economist, or health and social services specialist as a District Manager (m/f/d) for our district office in Oak Grove, LA.

Your main responsibilities include:

As the head of the district office, you are responsible for the optimal and timely execution of the following tasks in the business area of the VdK district association Neumarkt with its approximately 11,500 members:
Organization and quality assurance, including providing social law advice and representation
Management of a team of 8 employees
Recruitment, support, and advice for volunteers in the district association and its 21 local associations, as well as promoting and supporting additional volunteer positions such as VdK guides, care companions, and advisors for accessibility
Representation of our association and our social policy goals at the regional level in committees, towards politics, authorities, and other institutions
Planning, organization, and execution of events, including giving lectures, member care, and recruitment of new members, press work, advertising, support for the VdK newspaper and website, and ensuring the principles of costeffectiveness and nonprofitability

Your qualifications:

You have a degree or completed vocational training with indepth knowledge in the social, social legal, or social economic field, or experience in the nonprofit sector or social associations
You possess strong communication and social skills for building trusting relationships with
