JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Resp:

Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments |
Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management |
Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business |
Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning |
Creates financial models of what if scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc.
KSAs: Generally serves as a lead to other professional (exempt) individual contributors or supervises a group of hourly/non-exempt staff.
Provides expertise and guidance and reviews work.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.
Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Schedules, reviews and oversees work activities spanning one week to one month time horizon and reports on quarterly progress.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business; preference to Finance, Accounting, or similar field
4-5 years of relevant work experience in Finance, corporate strategy, consulting, or analytics
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Keen analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new systems and processes
Experience communicating and presenting to leadership
Self-motivated, team player and can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications

Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights
Knowledge of planning technologies; Oracle preferred
Experience using Power Query or other querying tools
Experience building detailed financial models
