Headquartered in the Boston market, Sales Boat is in the entire Boston area.

We work with the largest energy consulting firm in the county providing gas and energy services specifically to the residential industry in a commercial setting.

We also have been given an opportunity to work with Amazon the biggest retail client.

We're seeking a top-notch account manager for the area. A Sales Boat salesperson is responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing accounts within a specific territory.

As the primary interface between our clients and customers, the Account Manager must represent the company faithfully and with the highest level of integrity.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following)

  • Develop new business
  • Maintain relationships with an existing customer base
  • Generate sales proposals
  • Promptly respond to administrative requests
  • Deliver samples
  • Document special orders
  • Sell special warehouse items
  • Measure apartment floor plans and develop seaming diagrams
  • Assist in resolving installation problems and customer complaints
  • Be actively involved in local trade associations
  • Attend branch sales meetings
  • Assist with various tasks as requested by the supervisor
Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience preferred, but not required
  • 1+ years of Customer service or sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to set and attain goals
  • Highly energetic and aggressive
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Professional attitude
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Some college preferred
