The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) in Landover Hills, MD is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher (M/F/d) to join our team.

As a member of the Helmholtz Association, Germany's largest scientific organization, the MDC offers a dynamic research environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position with a duration of 2 years and the possibility of extension.


Job Description:

  • Develop and implement generative machine learning models and algorithms for the analysis and integration of largescale omics data
  • Utilize methods from explainable artificial intelligence to understand gene regulatory sequences
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate and interpret data from multiple sources
  • Present research findings at internal and external meetings and conferences
  • Publish findings in highimpact scientific journals

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field with a focus on machine learning
  • Experience in analyzing biomedical highthroughput data using cluster/GPU computing resources
  • Strong programming skills and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikitlearn and/or pyTorch
