- Sell IT infrastructure solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) organizations.
- Drive new business and grow existing accounts within your territory.
- Deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
- Build strong client relationships through regular visits and product expertise.
- Target Federal E-rate and SLED opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with engineers on pre-sales for Security, Networking, Wireless, Collaboration, and Data Center solutions.
- Use a strategic, solution-focused approach to showcase DSI Tech's value and close deals.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Manage your workflow proactively and resolve challenges efficiently.
- 3 years in an outside sales capacity selling IT solutions for Cisco products or other vendors (NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, Crestron)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or related field OR an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and directly related progressive job experience
- Proven experience in SLED (State and Local Government and Education)
- Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management, organization skills, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking abilities
- Results-driven and detail-oriented
- Established credibility in interactions with customers and team members
- Any Cisco Sales Certification, especially CCSE (Cisco Certified Sales Expert)
- Possess a strong SLED client list for your assigned territory
