    We're in search of a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our vibrant urology team.

    By working closely with urologists and healthcare teams, you'll deliver exceptional care while unlocking avenues for personal development and positively influencing patient outcomes.

    Travel between sites is necessary but reimbursed. Take the leap and join us in shaping the future of urological care.

    Central Connecticut:

    The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital with campuses in New Britain and Southington .

    While Advance Practice Practitioners and residents work collaboratively, each runs a separate surgical service. The focus of the resident (Red Team) service is on community elective and emergency surgery.

    • Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.

    In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.

    Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)

    Training :
    Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified)

    Experience : 2+ years in a urology setting is preferred. This should not dissuade new graduates to apply as we understand work ethic supersedes experience in certain situations and we are willing to provide comprehensive training
