Under the clinical supervision of the Endocrinology Medical Director and the general supervision of the Administrative Director, provides medical consultation and follow up for Diabetes and endocrine care in the outpatient setting.
Performs assessments and treatment according to established practice goals and philosophy of the Department of Medicine in collaboration with the hospitalist and/or primary care physician of record or their designee.
Provides direct patient care in office consultations, including assessment, work-ups, triage, and other patient care activities and documents in EMR system (EPIC).
