- Manage day-to-day accounts payable functions.
- Receive incoming vendor invoices and verify accuracy, obtain appropriate supporting documentation and approvals.
- Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Report and analyze any variances in financial information and perform ad-hoc analysis
- Process vendor invoices in the accounts payable system
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Opening incoming mail
- Provide clerical and administrative support to our accounts payable and accounting team as necessary
- Run monthly-end tasks to assist in monthly closing
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Other duties as assigned and directed by the supervisor
- Knowledge of basic administrative routines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently, with little supervision
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and be a team player
- Working knowledge SAGE Intacct, Microsoft Excel, Word will be a plus

Position Summary:
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of data processed in the accounts payable system. You will be responsible for process vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, opening incoming mail. You should be able to communicate professionally, be highly organized, possess excellent computer and organizational skills, and embody a welcoming/friendly demeanor.
Job Duties & Essential Functions:
Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00PM
